Mike,
I’ve been meaning to write you this letter sooner, but things just seem to get busier every day!

I had other “tree experts” give their opinion on that same maple tree and none of them suggested the emergency crises or had the efficiency, capabilities that you and your team has. In fact, I had one estimate - 3 days of work at the cost of $3,000!!! And he could not get to it soon since he was backed up with other work. I want to thank you, Dana, and your crew for your excellent service, price, and making this job a priority over others! I’m in the process of milling some of the larger pieces if you want, let me know and I’ll save you some. And if you have the need for any promotional needs please don’t hesitate to call.

I hope you enjoy the enclosed photos!
Best Wishes,
Sandy Vaccaro

Dear Mike,
On behalf of the board of directors of the Clinton Land Conservation Trust, Inc., I would like to confer upon you a Life Membership in appreciation for the work you did on the Lar Fagan Sanctuary. You accomplished a real transformation of the entrance to that lovely piece of property that had become a snaggy tangle of vines, scrubby shrubs and unsightly trees. Now it looks natural, as if someone cared, with its picturesque old stone wall, and invites hikers to venture along its trail into the marsh.

Your generous gift of time and manpower has made a real difference. Thank you for helping us enhance the rural shoreline character of our town and the open spaces we care for.

Sincerely
Lynnabeth O. Mays, Secretary

Last night when we spoke I was so upset by Ella having treed herself for the second time in two months that I didn't ask your name.
This is a terrific service you offer and I am very grateful and so, above all, is Ella Fitzgerald. As you face the door to which I have taped this note, look up the hill to your right. Ella is high in a tree just behind my neighbor's house, beyond the little garage beside the road. Mary Welch's house number is 37 Laurel. You can probably hear Ella calling.

I heard her yowling when I came home last night (after being away since Wednesday morning) so I don't know how long she's been up there. Neighbors down the street let their dogs roam and they chase cats whenever they can. The first time it happened, the hoodlum dog owner was able to get Ella down using his 28' ladder but this time she's higher up.
You're the only guy who can do the job.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Helen

Dear Mike,
Thank you for coming over to clear the growth from the utility lines on the lane back to the house. Your crew did an excellent job. It looks like a different piece of property. In addition to their excellent work, they were friendly and courteous, with a good sense of humor. Please pass these words along to them.

I would recommend your company to anyone.
Sincerely,
David

Dear Mike,
Thank you way much for rescuing our cat recently. We don’t think he ever wants to climb a tree again – Tree phobia!
Thanks again.

Dear Mike and Staff
This was our first spring and beginning of summer since you did all that work on our trees, and we have to say our yard looks better then ever! You did such a careful, artful job, we don’t even remember where the trees you took down used to be. The yard is just opened up so nicely, and our grass and garden are loving the sun they’re finally getting.
Having Affordable Tree Experts L.L.C. do our yard work was like getting a great haircut: everyone knows there’s something new and improved about you, but they’re not sure what. Because your hair is cut so perfectly a new haircut is not obviously what’s different. Friends keep asking “What did you do to your yard? It looks great!” Your advice about what to take down, what to leave and what to prune was perfect. And thank you for somehow saving the one flowering sapling that was growing in the middle of some of the trees you took down. We don’t know how you managed to save it, but we're so glad you did. It flowered so beautifully last week and really looks gorgeous.
You were worth every penny we paid, actually you were a bargain – we will continue to recommend you to all our friends.
Thanks for making our yard look so much better all year round.

All the best,
Jeanne & Bill Crowley

Dear Mike,
Here’s a set of the pix that I took Nov. 7th as you dismantled trees here in hopes our ridge pole might remain intact for another 40 years. Thought you and your crew might like to have’em. Feel free to use as you wish.
I’m grateful for your services and would have no hesitation to recommend you to others.

Kind Regards
H

Dear Mike,
A telephone message is just not the appropriate way to thank you and your crew for not only saving the day but doing so with such grace, efficiency and generosity. I was already embarrassed by the change in plans, over which I had no control but I truly had no idea that the installation would take such a long time.

I’m fully aware that you must have had business commitments and clients waiting for your services. That you were willing to follow through with Jean Paul and his airplanes without a grumble was a remarkable gift to The Madison Mile of Sculpture. I had to leave to see about the Souvenir Program at the printer but had a full report from Bill Bendig about your major contribution. We thank you, one and all.

Again with heartfelt gratitude, I am.

As always
Ann B. Christensen, Director
Madison Mile of Sculpture
